Science Project: Slime - an example of of how one molecular chain can be combined with a cross linking agent to form a stretchy, slimy surface. (He totally didn't get that, but I feel all smart saying it.)

How to make Slime:
• Dissolve one teaspoon of Borax in one-half cup of water. Stir thoroughly.
• Combine one-half cup of water, one-half cup of Elmer's glue, and a couple of drops of food coloring.
• Pour the Borax solution into the glue and quickly stir.

He may not have gotten it, but he looks like he is having a ton of fun playing with it... LOL!
Slime is sooo much fun! He'll get the scientific significance of it later. ;)
With Gavin, right now we are basically giving him information. We'll pay more attention to him understanding it during the next stage of learning. At the moment, they just absorb so much!
Looks like that slime is fun to play with! :)
I'm so so amazed with those preschool lessons!!! I wish I could participate in them :]
